It's good to finally hear from him! We were starting to wonder. We still haven't got a letter although he said he sent one last Friday (might be still in his backpack and we'll see it in Sept 2011). Shay got a letter (maybe he forgot to stamp ours???) he wrote Saturday and he was really upbeat about his first few days...

Yesterday, I got a phone call from the MTC (yes, heart stopped for a brief moment) and they needed some insurance info. Monday before he left he was goofing with his brothers and Shay and got an elbow into his calf. He limped on it Tuesday, but seemed fine Wednesday. Apparently it acted up again and he went to the medical facility. They want to do some physical therapy on it. Of course, his email mentions nothing of the matter!

His MTC P-day is Wednesdays, so I'll update the blogspot again on the 23rd and then he's scheduled to fly out the next Wednesday (30th). He's able to call home from the airport, so I'll pass on how he's doing.
